Danish Society for Pharmacology is an umbrella organisation of the 4 independent Danish scientific societies within pharmacology – The Pharmaceutical Society of Denmark, Danish Society for Pharmacoepidemiology, Danish Society of Toxicology and Pharmacology and Danish Society of Clinical Pharmacology.
Danish Society for Pharmacology has entered a co-operation agreement with the scientific journal Basic & Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology that supports the society financially.
Danish Society for Pharmacology aims to
- promote the objectives of the 4 member societies
- hold or support international and national toxicological and pharmacological scientific meetings and conferences in Denmark
- provide practical and specialist support for the publication of textbooks and journals as well as other activities that promote the objectives of the society
- work to strengthen pre- and postgraduate education in pharmacology at Danish university studies.
