Danish Society for Pharmacology is an umbrella organisation of the 5 independent Danish scientific societies within pharmacology – The Pharmaceutical Society of Denmark, Danish Society for Pharmacoepidemiology, Danish Society of Toxicology and Pharmacology, Danish Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Danish Society for Clinical Chemical Pharmacology.
Danish Society for Pharmacology has entered a co-operation agreement with the scientific journal Basic & Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology that supports the society financially.
Danish Society for Pharmacology aims to
- promote the objectives of the 5 member societies
- hold or support international and national toxicological and pharmacological scientific meetings and conferences in Denmark
- provide practical and specialist support for the publication of textbooks and journals as well as other activities that promote the objectives of the society
- work to strengthen pre- and postgraduate education in pharmacology at Danish university studies.
